Elderly couple

Dear David,
I just want to tell you some good news that happened yesterday. I went to the home of an elderly couple, Mr. and Mrs. Lo, to baptize them. Mr. Lo, who is 91 and very alert, told me that he was visited by you in the Peak Hospital over 10 years ago. You prayed for him, and then you began sending him the Macau Times. That was one source for him to hear the Gospel, along with his daughter and some TV programs. Last year he and his wife believed in Jesus. They are now members of EFC Gospel Centre. Praise the Lord for using you and the Macau Times!

2009年一月號的《時代》出版了。今期起，《時代》有以下改變：

１．印刷量增至10,000份，上月是6,000份，因為派發點增加了：匯業銀行、維多利亞酒店，讀者對象包括內地自由行人士。印刷量增加，但版面沒有增加，維持４版，先前曾考慮過增至８版，後來發現內容要倍增，經費要倍增，設計師也覺得難以應付工作量......在沒有各方面印證的情況下，遂決定維持４版，但改為底面全彩色印刷，印刷量增近一倍，印刷費只略加三分一。

２．版頭煥然一新，【時代】二字更突出、明顯；右側【勵志篇】主角相片，加上每期不同的主色調（今期為黃色）；讓人一看就分辦到每期皆不同。在此要多謝設計師許至琦姊妹，她是用心來雕琢這份刊物，在很細緻的地方都可以看見她的專業、細心，連印刷廠的師傅都說佩服。

３．封面文章以時評為主，今期由鄧國光弟兄撰文，評論施政報告，內容中肯有建設性，又有數據支持，情理兼備，是很好的寫手。
